Facebook Groups Introduces File Sharing Feature

If you are on Facebook, it is possible that you would be a part of several groups, and you could have felt the need for sharing files with its members. Now, reports suggest that the social network has formally launched this option. Initially, it will available for a few groups, and is expected to be rolled out for across the social network "soon".
The upload limit is limited to 25MB and you can upload almost any kind of file, with exception of executable and music files. Users will also have the option of reporting malicious file types. The "Upload File" option will appear when users attempt to post content to the group.
In October 2010, Facebook acquired a popular file sharing service, drop.io, so we can assume that is how this new feature has come by. If your group hasn't received it yet, here is what the new feature looks like.
