Russian firm: Iran victim of powerful new cyberattack

A Russian-based internet security firm says a powerful spyware virus has attacked computers in Iran and elsewhere in the Middle East.
Comments by Israel's vice-premier have fueled speculation the Flame spyware might come from Israel, which sees Iran's nuclear program as a mortal threat.
Moshe Yaalon told Army Radio on Tuesday, "Whoever sees the Iranian threat as a significant threat is likely to take various steps, including these, to hobble it."
He added, "Israel is blessed with high technology, and we boast tools that open all sorts of opportunities for us."
According to digital security provider Kaspersky Lab, "the complexity and functionality of the newly discovered malicious program exceed those of all other cyber menaces known to date."
