Followed by recent rumors about something special from Ubuntu stable, Ubuntu has officially unveiled Ubuntu TV at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. The Ubuntu TV concept is a customized Ubuntu installation running on a real TV! Ubuntu TV aids in watching movies, TV shows, YouTube videos, listening to music and much more.
Though there aren’t any signed deals with manufacturers for commercializing this product, it is expected that Ubuntu TVs will be shipped from third or fourth quarter this year.
